Post Diploma In Global Supply Chain Management

This program offers an in-depth exploration of supply chain management from a global perspective, emphasizing the strategic and operational aspects necessary to effectively manage and optimize supply chains in today’s complex, international business environment. It combines advanced theoretical knowledge with practical applications, drawing on current global challenges and innovative trends.

Note: This program is not eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).

General Admission Requirements

• Completion of an undergraduate diploma or degree in business, commerce, or a related discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution in good academic
  standing.
  OR
• Successful completion of a minimum of two years (normally 60 credits) of full-time undergraduate-level coursework at an accredited post-secondary institution, in
  related subject areas such as Business, Accounting, Finance, Communication, Economics, Marketing, or Organizational Behaviour.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

Students whose first language is not English, in addition to the admission requirements listed above, must also meet one or more of the following language proficiency
requirements:

• Completion of grades 9-11, including English 11 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher from a country where English is one of the principal languages, OR
• Completion of 2 years of full-time post-secondary education at an accredited institution where English is the language of instruction. See Appendix A for the list of
  approved countries. OR
• Provide verified results for one of the English language proficiency tests listed below. Test results must be dated no more than two years before the start date of the program.
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: overall score of 5.5 or higher.
  • Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Test: overall score of 40 or higher
  • Duolingo English Test (DET): overall score of 95 or higher
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) IBT: Minimum overall score of 46
  • Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP): Minimum overall score: Listening 6, Speaking 6, Reading 5, and Writing 5.
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum overall score of 43
  • Cambridge English Qualifications: B2 First exam (FCE): Minimum overall score of 160 or “C”
  • Cambridge Linguaskill: Minimum overall B2 level
  • LANGUAGECERT Academic: Minimum overall B2 level
  • The Michigan English Test (MET): Minimum overall B2 level
  • iTEP Academic: Minimum overall score of 3.5
  • EIKEN: Minimum placement of Grade Pre-1

APPENDIX A

THE LIST OF APPROVED COUNTRIES

Upon completion of this program, the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:

• Analyze global supply chain strategies to evaluate their impact on business performance and competitiveness.
• Describe and coordinate key supply chain operations, including procurement, production, distribution, and logistics, in relation to an organization’s goals.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to assess supply chain performance and make data-driven operational and strategic decisions.
• Evaluate global supply chain designs and practices in the context of international trade regulations, cross-cultural communication, and global market dynamics.
• Assess and manage risks associated with global supply chain activities, including supplier reliability, logistics disruptions, regulatory compliance, and geopolitical
  factors.
• Examine and recommend the use of emerging supply chain technologies (such as blockchain, AI, IoT, and analytics) to improve visibility, efficiency, and performance.
• Assess supply chain policies and practices for alignment with principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility, including environmental and ethical standards.
• Demonstrate leadership and management skills by leading teams, making strategic decisions, and communicating effectively within diverse organizational and cultural environments.

Methods of Evaluation

• For each course, students have to pass the mid-course exam, Assignment(s), and
  final exam.

Completion Requirements

• Students are REQUIRED to pass each course with a minimum of 70%
• Settle any outstanding fees.

• 1440 Hours (1280 Instructional + 160 Practicum)
• 70 Weeks

Homework Hours

• 4 – 5 hours weekly.
